TRUE POTENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
Our goal is to help young immigrants reach their true potential through accessible, high-quality education.
The True Potential Scholarship began with a focus on creating opportunities for young immigrants with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and later expanded to include all immigrants. These individuals are not eligible for public benefits, including federal financial aid and many scholarships. The idea for this scholarship was born from personal experience.

For this reason, when they saw the opportunity to help others gain access to affordable, high-quality education, they established the True Potential Scholarship Program.”
Since 2014
Since 2014, thanks to the generosity of individuals and local organizations, True Potential has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to more than 100 immigrants in Nebraska and Iowa.
We have partnered with all community colleges in the state and are supported by grants from the Omaha Community Foundation, the Mexican Consulate in Omaha, and the Jesusita and Santos Valor y Fortaleza Fund.
